Seriously, you want to encourage helpful insects – such as ladybirds, lacewings and bees – to flourish in your garden, and a great way to do this is to build them their own bug box.
iv>This will give them somewhere to shelter (or hibernate later), and the happy bugs will help to evolve your garden.
I built my own box from some old wood and it works great, using scraps of timber, some old bamboo canes with old branches.

It is perfect for encouraging the wildlife in my own garden by also improving the balance between insects and pests.
