Fish-Friendly Herbs
A Nelson herb farm is moving to the forefront of aquaponic technology in New Zealand, using fish to help grow its products. Tasman Bay Herbs near Motueka already grows most of its herbs hydroponically, but last year decided to see if fish could give it a competitive edge. Local interest in the project has been so high, the owners have had to open their doors and show how they’re getting an extra kick out of carp.
